The history of Romanian cinema is large and colorful. The first Romanian movies were filmed in 1911 Amor fatal, Spread Yourselves, Daisies, The 1877–1878 War. In the 1910-1920s a lot of Romanian films were successfully screened . When the era of sound films has started, a number of best Romanian movies were made in cooperation with Hungarian, German, French and Czechoslovak filmmakers. After the Second World War when The Soviet Union had occupied Romania the strong censorship was implemented. The best Romanian films of those times were with a "high ideological content". Romanian filmmakers had to show the " bright communist future". But after the collapse of the Soviet system the New Wave of Romanian cinema was started. Movies filmed in Romania in 2001 and 2002 are: Stuff and Dough by Cristi Puiu and Cristian Mungiu's Occident won in the Directors' Fortnight section parallel to the Cannes Film Festival. Few Romanian movies (2010) won the Jury Grand Prix Silver Bear and were shown Out of Competition at Cannes. Find the best Romanian movies, downland and enjoy them! At the Bucharest Circus, the new young manager is trying to solve the major financial issues of the company by selling its only bear (old and about to die soon) to German hunters. But the artists do not want to sacrifice their favorite animal so the manager decides to steal the bear and run to the mountains to meet the Germans. A crazy road movie starts following the bear.
Jackass 3D
'Jackass 3D' opens with the entire cast all lined up, each wearing a different color of the rainbow, in front of a rainbow colored background, each in turn being attacked in various ways. Some of the footage is slowed down for maximal effect. This is repeated again at the end of the movie with additional explosions mixed in with gallons of water to wash away the cast- chaos is resumed. Throughout the movie the team are subjected to the usual foray of physical abuse from team members or perform hilarious stunts (including some of the more stomach turning stunts such as the Sweat suit cocktail, Toy Train Eruption and Poo Cocktail Supreme - not for the weak stomached!).

The Iron Guard, also known as Legion of Archangel Michael, was a Romanian nationalist and patriotic movement of extreme right; as such, after it rose to power, it supported Nazi Germany and started a fierce campaign of retaliation against its political enemies. As such, in the night of November 26-27, 1940, the Death Teams executed forty political prisoners in the Jilava prison (in the movie, named "Viraga"), and next day, other two Teams arrested and shot the former minister Virgil Madgearu and the world famous historian Nicolae Iorga (in the movie: Costin Märgeanu and Nicolae Jugu).
